The Meadowbrook Community Garden is a place where residents can plant, nurture, and harvest their own herbs, vegetables and flowers.

Lindy Communities COVID-19 Garden Rules:

Social Distancing

We are not permitting more than 5 people in a garden at one time. All gardeners must maintain social distancing and stay 6 feet apart.

Cleaning and Disinfecting
Exercise an abundance of caution in the garden and follow these guidelines recommended by the CDC:

  1. We urge you to wear gloves and a mask at all times.
  2. Be mindful of frequently touched spots like gates, locks, water spigots, and tools
  3. Bring with you hand sanitizer and soap and use it frequently.
  4. Do not share your tools with anyone else.

Wash all produce you harvest from the garden

Gardening is about much more than simply growing your own food — it’s about getting outside, exercising, socializing, and teaching children (and reminding ourselves) where food comes from. It gives you a chance to connect with nature, and is a lifelong hobby that is both therapeutic and productive. Producing delicious fruits and vegetables is just a nice bonus.

The plots are available on a first come first serve basis for residents at no charge and are accessible from mid April through mid October.

We have 64 plots for our residents.

Please come to the office to reserve your plot and sign the Form.
